How you'll work. Mostly one day a week from home, agreed for each role.

  • You'll be employed by Nkonso Technologies Ltd.

About the role

Agoo Kiosk welcomes visitors and clocks in staff at front desks and gates, and Agoo Workspace puts hosting, approvals and attendance on every member of staff's phone. Amee and Atumpan will follow as new native apps. We hold every one of them to a high bar: native to the platform, richly and purposefully animated, and right on phones and tablets, in light and dark.

What you'll do

  • Build features across our iOS apps in SwiftUI, from the first screen to the App Store
  • Design motion with a purpose: matched geometry, springs, phase and keyframe animation, symbol effects and haptics
  • Use Apple's own idioms and materials, including Liquid Glass, with our brand on top
  • Make every screen right on iPhone and iPad, in light and dark, with Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion honoured
  • Build flows that keep working offline and catch up when the network returns
  • Build short, skippable animated intros for our new apps with our designers
  • Prepare App Store releases, previews and review submissions with the team
  • Work with our cryptography and backend engineers on private messaging for Atumpan
  • Review colleagues' code and keep the iOS codebase healthy

What you'll bring

  • At least five years building iOS apps, with recent, substantial SwiftUI work in production
  • Apps you can show us, with motion and detail you're proud of
  • Deep knowledge of Swift concurrency, the app lifecycle and performance profiling
  • Accessibility as a habit: VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion
  • Experience with offline-first data and syncing
  • Experience shipping through the App Store and handling review
  • If you're a Ghanaian graduate: National Service completed, or exempt

Nice to have

  • Kiosk-style or shared-device apps
  • Push notifications, Live Activities and actions from the lock screen
  • Secure messaging or applied cryptography on iOS
  • Close work with an Android team on shared behaviour

How you'll work

  • Hybrid. You'll be based at our office at 10A Mega Street, Adentan, Accra, mostly with one day a week from home, agreed for the role.
  • Hours. Standard office hours.
  • This is a permanent, full-time role.
  • Reporting. You'll report to the Head of Engineering.
  • Openings. There are two openings: one now, for Agoo Kiosk and Agoo Workspace, and one before Amee opens, for Amee and Atumpan.
