How you'll work. Fully remote from within Ghana, in our Accra office only on special occasions. A contract, with work that comes in planned bursts.
- You'll be employed by Nkonso Technologies Ltd.
About the role
Each of our new apps opens with a short, skippable animated intro, three or four scenes with one idea each, made from our brand and real moments in the product, never stock illustration. You'll make those intros, the store previews and the motion that carries our brand on nkonso.com. The work comes in bursts, so it's a contract.
What you'll do
- Animate short, skippable app intros from our brand and real product moments
- Make App Store and Google Play previews and screenshots
- Make the opening sequence and motion for nkonso.com
- Make share images and social motion for new pages and launches
- Hand over motion that engineers can rebuild natively, with clear timings and curves
- Work within our brand: the door mark, ink and gold, and our heritage motifs
What you'll bring
- A portfolio of motion and brand work for digital products
- Expert skill in professional motion and design tools
- An understanding of how motion is rebuilt in native apps
- A respect for the brand systems you work within
- Reliable delivery against agreed dates, working remotely
- Clear communication about timings, curves and intent
- If you're a Ghanaian graduate: National Service completed, or exempt
Nice to have
- Lottie or similar formats for app animation
- 3D or illustration skills
- Work for Ghanaian or African brands
How you'll work
- Remote. You'll work fully remotely from within Ghana, joining us at the Accra office only on special occasions.
- Hours. Standard office hours.
- This is a contract role, with work that comes in planned bursts.
- Reporting. You'll report to our Senior Product Designer.
